Mr. Saunders has over 15 years of experience in public-sector leadership and strategic operations, with expertise in managing complex policy, governance, and operational portfolios across municipal, provincial, and federal environments. A retired officer of the Canadian Armed Forces (2008–2015), he developed a foundation in operational planning, mission-focused execution, and high-stakes leadership in structured and dynamic environments.

With this experience, Mr. Saunders brings to Polyflex Capital a deep understanding of multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments, infrastructure development, and cross-sector coordination. His background in navigating complex government frameworks and delivering large-scale operational initiatives informs Polyflex Capital’s approach to energy-integrated infrastructure and digital compute operations.

Mr. Saunders leads the firm’s strategic development and long-term infrastructure vision, overseeing the evolution of its energy-aligned digital asset and compute platform.

Mr. Saunders holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Anthropology from Mount Allison University.
